Filling Systems

Filling systems are used wherever fluids need to be filled or emptied from drums, IBCs, or canisters quickly, safely, and with precise dosing. A FLUX filling system consists of a combination of a pump, drive motor, and accessories tailored to the specific application.

The product range extends from manual pump sets to semi-automatic systems with FLUXTRONIC metering, all the way to the FLUX FILL GT filling system with weighing technology, which is certified for calibration.

Applications and Uses

Manual Filling Systems

Manually fill various media quickly and safely.

Semi-automatic systems

Use a flow meter to precisely measure out preset quantities and fill containers with consistent results.

SAFETEC Pump Set

Safely and carefully empty enclosed IBCs and drums.

FLUX-FILL GT

Semi-automatic filling system with weighing technology: accurate, efficient, and reliable filling.

Overview

FLUX filling systems are pre-assembled systems consisting of FLUX pumps, drive motors, and application-specific accessories. Manual sets with a dispensing nozzle are suitable for simple filling tasks, while semi-automatic systems with FLUXTRONIC® and flow meters ensure reproducible dosing.

For filling subject to calibration requirements under the Prepackaged Goods Ordinance, the FLUX FILL GT with weighing technology is available. The SAFETEC system empties sealed chemical containers without opening them and without spilling a drop.

Pre-assembled

Pump, motor, hose, discharge fitting—all designed to work together, ready for immediate use

Three Levels of Automation

Manual (fuel nozzle), semi-automatic (FLUXTRONIC®), calibrated (FLUX FILL GT)

Wide Range of Media

Acids, alkalis, mineral oils, flammable fluids, FOOD, PHARMA, viscosities up to 30,000 mPas

Calibrated in accordance with FPackV

FLUX-FILL GT Filling System, a compact, semi-automatic filling system with weighing technology for accurate, efficient filling of fluids

Certifications

Explosion-proof, FOOD, 3-A, FPackV-calibrated (depending on the system)

Advantages

Ready to use right away

Pre-assembled pump sets – components are designed to work together, so no individual configuration is necessary.

Dosing at the push of a button

The FLUXTRONIC® control system automatically stops at the preset quantity—reproducibly and independently of the operator.

Calibrated Weighing Technology

FLUX FILL GT operates in compliance with FPackV—for the filling of small and medium-sized batches subject to calibration requirements.

Safe, sealed discharge

SAFETEC empties sealed chemical containers via the dip tube—drip-free, with no contact between the staff and the contents.

Applications

Typical applications and areas of use for FLUX filling systems.

Universal Filling

Acids, alkalis, fuels, oils, and water from drums and IBCs—using manual pump sets.

Media Requiring Dosage Control

Semi-automatic dispensing of preset quantities—controlled by FLUXTRONIC with automatic stop.

Food and Pharmaceuticals

Food- and pharmaceutical-grade sets – FDA, 3-A, media-compatible materials.

Ex-proof bottling

Flammable and highly flammable media – ATEX-compliant explosion-proof pump sets.

Bottling Subject to Calibration Requirements

FPackV-compliant weighing technology with FLUX FILL GT – for filling products for sale.

Sealed Containers of Hazardous Substances

Closed drainage via a suction lance with SAFETEC—drip-free, no contact with the fluid.

Filling Systems in Practical Use

Examples from the industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, and food production sectors demonstrate how FLUX filling systems fill media safely, with precise dosing, and efficiently.

Safely Dosing Acids and Bases into Electroplating Baths with SAFETEC

How a manufacturer of construction chemicals saves time and materials through battery technology and quick-change motors.

Precise Pouring of Viscous Dispersion Plaster

A manufacturer uses a VISCOPOWER pump set to fill 10-liter buckets with high-viscosity dispersion plaster from a production tank.

Efficient Filling of High-Viscosity Glucose Syrup

High-viscosity glucose syrup is transferred from IBCs to mixing tanks using an F 580 S FOOD eccentric screw pump—filling time reduced from 120 to 45 minutes

The maximum flow rate is determined under test conditions using water at 20 °C (68 °F), measured directly at the pump outlet without accessories such as hoses, dispensing nozzles, or flow meters. Actual flow rates achieved in practice may be lower and depend on the application, fluid properties, and pump configuration. Unless otherwise specified, all values refer to operation with an axial rotor.
