The Challenge

At a brewery, 30% sodium hydroxide solution is transferred from an IBC into smaller canisters. The transfer process requires a reliable, safe, and consistently effective solution for handling corrosive cleaning agents.

Corrosive medium

A 30% sodium hydroxide solution corrodes unsuitable materials and requires a chemical-resistant conveying solution.

Regular use

Repeated filling requires durable and robust technology that resists rapid wear and tear.

Ergonomic Handling

Manual transfer from IBCs is cumbersome and increases the risk of operator error.

The solution:

F 430 PP with FEM 4070

The F 430 PP drum pump, when used in combination with the FEM 4070 commutator motor, enables the safe transfer of caustic soda from IBCs. The polypropylene pump assembly offers high resistance to alkaline media. An integrated metal core increases stability and service life during repeated use. The lightweight design and tool-free operation facilitate mobile use in cleaning applications.

Filling Process

Safe transfer from IBCs in just a few steps.

1. Position the pump in the IBC

The drum pump is placed inside the IBC and positioned correctly.

2. Connect the motor

The FEM 4070 collector motor is installed and made ready for operation without the need for tools.

3. Start the transfer process

The caustic soda solution is pumped in a controlled manner from the IBC into smaller canisters.

4. Continue using your cell phone

Thanks to its lightweight design, the pump can be used flexibly in a variety of locations.

Lightweight and portable

The lightweight design and tool-free operation allow for quick switching between work sites. This makes the solution particularly well-suited for mobile cleaning applications.
