Hygienic mixing and conveying of low-viscosity oils

Low-viscosity edible oils are mixed and filled from various IBCs. The technology used must comply with hygiene regulations and allow for a flexible combination of mixing and pumping.

MINIFLUX Sanitary with F 416 compressed air motor

Task

Mix low-viscosity cooking oils from various IBCs and then transfer them to a storage tank. Some of the IBCs are not accessible from the top. At the same time, all components used must be food-grade and suitable for hygienic processes.

Solution in Detail

The MINIFLUX Sanitary is mounted directly on the IBC outlet. A riser pipe with an integrated 3-way valve enables circulation for mixing as well as subsequent filling. The F 416 air motor ensures flexible operation in hygienic applications.

Result

Quick Cleaning During Operation The MINIFLUX Sanitary is designed with minimal dead space and can be disassembled in about 20 seconds without tools. This significantly reduces cleaning times—a decisive advantage when frequent product changes are required in food processing.
