Task
Dose and transfer lime milk from IBCs into various wastewater tanks. A flow rate of approximately 60 l/min is required. The centrifugal pump used to date causes excessive wear and does not meet the requirements for service life and operational reliability.
Requirements
- Flow rate approx. 60 l/min
- Significantly reduce wear
Solution in Detail
Use of an RFM 25 air-operated diaphragm pump with flap valves, combined with a suction pipe and an IBC lid. The self-priming, dry-run-protected pump is designed for abrasive media and is operated via a pressure reducer.
