F 426 – Drum Pump for Mixing and Conveying

Mixing and transferring with a single pump

The F 426 drum pump is designed for mixing and transferring fluids that tend to separate or must remain in motion during the transfer process. A control lever allows operators to switch between mixing and transferring while the pump is running.

Depending on the version, the F 426 is available in polypropylene or stainless steel and can be combined with various FLUX motors. Stainless-steel versions are also available for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Features

  • For mixing and/or conveying non-homogeneous liquids
  • Two control levers for easy opening and closing of the mixing ports
  • Mixing ports allow the medium to flow back into the container for mixing
  • With a mechanical seal to seal the inner tube
  • Inner tube with metal core for PP (robust, no deformation)
  • Can be combined with various motors as needed

Advantages

  • 3 operating modes in a single pump:
    • Pumping,
    • pumping with simultaneous mixing,
    • and temporary pure mixing mode
  • Operating modes can be switched during operation
  • Easily disassembled for cleaning
  • Unique to FLUX: The metal-core-reinforced inner tube in the PP version. It prevents leaks and unnecessary wear on the mechanical seal across all operating temperature ranges
  • Temporary operation against a closed valve (dispensing nozzle, ball valve, etc.) is possible up to the specified maximum operating temperature
  • The stainless steel version is also suitable for use in hazardous areas

Media Examples

  • Emulsions
  • Mineral oil products
  • Solvents
  • Highly flammable substances
  • Acids
  • Alkalis
  • Cleaning agents
  • Fluids containing components that tend to separate

Note: Specific suitability depends on the selected material, seal, and motor design.

Technical Specifications

The technical specifications depend on the pump model, motor, and fluid.

Characteristic Specification
Maximum flow rate up to 240 l/min
Maximum head up to 13 mWS
Viscosity approx. 1 to a maximum of 1,200 mPas
Immersion depths 1,000 or 1,200 mm, depending on the model
Outer tube diameter Approx. 41 to 50 mm, depending on the model
Outer tube material Polypropylene or stainless steel
Rotor material Model-specific
Seal Mechanical seal
Operating modes Mixing, mixing and pumping, pumping
Explosion-proof version Available for selected stainless steel variants
Motors Can be combined with various FLUX motors
Containers Drums and similar containers

The maximum flow rate is a test bench value. The flow rate achievable in practice depends, among other factors, on the motor, pump model, fluid, viscosity, hose length, pipe cross-section, and head.
