Task
Transfer foam concentrate from various containers, such as 200-liter drums and 1,000-liter IBC containers, into smaller containers. Use in Class B fires—and increasingly in Class A fires as well—requires flexible and rapid foam concentrate logistics.
Requirements
- Fast transfer between different containers
- Suitable for various types of foaming agents
- Flexible applications for fire departments
- Easy to clean and handle
Solution in Detail
Pre-assembled fire department pump set featuring the F 430 drum pump for low-viscosity foaming agents and the VISCOPOWER F 570 progressive cavity pump for viscous media. A variety of drive options allow for flexible use in both stationary and mobile applications.
Result
Electric motors allow for use at the fire station or via emergency power generators. Pneumatic motors utilize existing vehicle technology. This makes it possible to adapt the pumping capacity to different operating conditions.
Products used
Foam agent pumping systems—ranging from preconfigured fire department drum pump sets to eccentric screw pumps for viscous fluids. Accessories and drives can be flexibly combined.
