VISCOFLUX lite
The VISCOFLUX lite drum emptying system consists of a FLUX eccentric screw pump with a motor, a pump centering crossbar, and a follow-up plate with a process seal. The follow-up plate is placed on top of the material in the drum, and the pump centering crossbar is secured above it on the drum. The pump is then guided through the opening in the pump centering crossbar and along the guide of the follow-up plate down to the bottom of the drum.
When the eccentric screw pump is in operation, a vacuum is created, causing the follow-up plate to lower. Thanks to the flexible process seal on the follow-up plate, virtually no material remains on the drum wall. The material being conveyed is also hermetically sealed. This allows the VISCOFLUX lite to achieve a residual volume of < 1%. After the conveying process, the follower plate is released from the bottom of the drum using compressed air.
VISCOFLUX mobile S
VISCOFLUX mobile S is a standalone system consisting of the process unit and a pump unit comprising a motor, pump, and support plate, which is individually configured for the specific application. The system can be easily maneuvered to the drum using the steerable rear wheels on the chassis. During the pumping process, the pump unit is lowered by a battery-powered drive until the support plate rests on the medium.
Thanks to the integrated freewheel mechanism, the travel carriage with the pump unit is automatically decoupled from the lifting carriage, which continues to lower independently of the pump unit. The self-priming eccentric screw pump creates a vacuum beneath the follow-up plate, causing the follow-up plate to lower. This ensures particularly gentle transfer of the medium. The flexible process seal also adapts to beads and conical constrictions, ensuring that virtually nothing remains on the drum wall. As a result, VISCOFLUX mobile achieves a residual volume of less than 1% when emptying drums and less than 2% for aseptic bags.
