Functional Description of Centrifugal Pumps

Various mineral oils are to be metered from IBCs into an extruder in precise quantities. The requirement is for precise, automated filling with a defined flow rate and constant pressure.

F 620, F 640, F 640 TR

In the F 620, F 640, and F 640 TR submersible centrifugal pumps, the impeller or conical rotor is connected to the drive motor via the drive shaft. The fluid to be pumped enters the centrifugal pump through the impeller housing, is accelerated by the rotating impeller or conical rotor, and is discharged outward and upward along a spiral path.

F 706, F 716, F 726, F 728

In the F 706, F 716, F 726, and F 728 submersible centrifugal pumps, the impeller is connected to the drive motor via the drive shaft. The fluid to be pumped enters the centrifugal pump through the suction pipe, is picked up by the rotating impeller, and is forced outward along a spiral path and upward through the spiral casing and riser pipe.
