Functional Description of Progressive cavity pumps

VISCOPOWER F 570 & F 580

 

The VISCOPOWER F 570 & F 580 progressive cavity pumps are positive displacement pumps. Their screw-shaped rotor (eccentric screw) is guided eccentrically within a stator shaped to match it. As a result, self-contained cavities are formed during rotation, within which the fluid is continuously conveyed upward in a particularly gentle and low-pulsation manner. The suction side is automatically sealed by the eccentric screw. This enables high pressure to be built up, regardless of the motor’s speed.
